About the podcast

Stories from the pews — and the people in them

People in the Pews is a podcast built on a simple belief: every ordinary person carries an extraordinary story of faith.

Our mission

Why we started this podcast

We live in a world that celebrates celebrity testimonies and polished platforms. But some of the most powerful stories of God's work happen quietly — in small churches, in hospital waiting rooms, in the back pews of congregations nobody's ever heard of.

People in the Pews exists to find those stories and share them. Not because they're dramatic, but because they're real. Because when ordinary people hear ordinary people talk about faith, something shifts. Walls come down. Hope rises.

Every episode is an unscripted conversation with someone whose life has been shaped by faith — sometimes in ways they never expected.

What we believe

The values that guide every episode

Authenticity over polish

We don't script our guests. We don't edit out the pauses or the tears. Real stories require real space.

Every voice matters

From lifelong churchgoers to those who just walked back through the door — every story deserves to be heard.

Community is the point

Faith doesn't happen in isolation. These stories are about the people, places, and communities that make belief possible.

Hope is the thread

No matter how hard the story, we believe God is at work. That thread of hope runs through every conversation.

Have a story to share?

We're always looking for the next voice from the pews. If faith has shaped your life in a meaningful way, we'd love to hear from you.
